"Through the eye of nepotism"

The collaborative piece of art explores the feelings and the criticism of nepotist infrastructures that creates barriers for emerging artists in both the United Kingdom and Mexico.
The spectator was invited to look through the telescope, with an narrow eye range at the miniature painting with a Mexican saying. The chosen apothegm, "Yo no pido que me den sino que me pongan donde hay" regards the desire of being placed in a position where one can reach their goals through their own merits.
